Gravity doesn’t care- it’s bringing the club down - I stretch my left shoulder up - to counteract the clubs gravity and that completely takes the grab out of the shot - not grounding the club at address makes a much smoother- lighter feel to the shot - awesome once again from Mr Padraig

I watched you live hitting that 2nd shot on the par 5 in howling wind to win the Open. One of the greatest Sunday rounds ever! Yeah there are many many grips, stances, postures, ect.. to pitch a ball, you cover the basics very well, after that you get into trick shots like Phil M loves to do.. which the average player really doesn't need to learn.

So wouldn't this make a difference with the type of equipment the person uses? For example maybe they're flipping at the end because the swing weight is way too heavy for them? Or maybe some people can hold the angle a little longer because their swing weight is light to say like Sergio Garcia has a light swing weight and a counterbalance driver? I'm starting to think that a lot of amateurs mistakes are actually in their equipment more than their mechanics. I think people are making microcompensations because their clubs swing weight is too heavy for them for the majority of people. In baseball in Little League kids start out with bats that are balanced or the weight would be more toward the handle if the kids exceptionally strong he might use an end loaded bat. But in golf everyone starts off with n loaded clubs in the d2d3 range which I think is way too heavy for most people. So back to my original question wouldn't it depend on the type of equipment the person is using with how they release the timing of the release syncing their hands and arms in their club and all these other issues that most people have? So say for example the swing weights too heavy they would early extend they would flip the club would get below the plane etc etc etc
